Not every concept of God fits into a spirituality of the desert. See if your concept of God fits the desert journey. Why this journey? Non-duality. Jesus did it and realized, “The Father and I are One.” His public ministry was rooted in this notion. We are all one with the One.
The retreat will take place at St Mary’s of the Lake, the Paulist Fathers summer house located on beautiful Lake George in upstate New York– accessible by car/bus/train.
Each retreatant will be provided with a private room with shared bathrooms and 3 meals daily. St. Mary’s on the Lake is situated on 72 acres of lakefront property providing opportunities for hiking, swimming and kayaking in a beautiful natural setting. There is wireless internet access. Special dietary needs can be met with advanced notice.
General information:
Retreat date: Sunday, June 16 (beginning with dinner at 6pm) to Friday, June 21(ending with lunch at 12:30pm) 5 days, 5 nights.
Fee: $125 per day includes: private room, 3 prepared meals a day, shared bathroom. Linens and towels are provided. Total retreat fee: $625
All retreatants must provide their own transportation to St. Mary's of the Lake including from the Ft. Edward train station and Lake George Village bus stop. St. Mary's will not provide rides from any terminus.
Retreat is strictly limited to 20 persons over 18. Dogs are not permitted on the property.
